Visual identity & interior concept for "Kuchenamt" in cooperation with Domisil, a Viennese architecture studio. A café that offers a second chance: Kuchenamt trains young people who face barriers to entering the regular job market due to social, health, or educational challenges. The logo is a customized wordmark set in Jooks Script – a contemporary take on early 20th century German cursive styles like Kurrent, while the color palette and typographic system draw from the mother brand wienwork, while still giving Kuchenamt a visual language of its own. Accessibility and inclusion were key throughout: the design should feel joyful and welcoming, but also support real workflows for the people who work there.
