Visual identity, brandbook, signage and print design for POLPETTI – a small Italian-style café and deli in Vienna. POLPETTI feels like a short trip to Italy: homemade food, good ingredients, a little break from the everyday — somewhere between mamma, nonna and espresso al banco. The design blends Italian warmth with graphic clarity: blue and gold as a base palette, a diamond icon as a recurring visual marker, and hand-drawn food illustrations that bring a loose, human touch to the clean layout system. Developed in close exchange with the founders, the visual language reflects their story — bold, independent, and full of character. The result is a system that’s equal parts practical and emotional: signage, menus, print and digital – all designed to feel effortless, but al dente.
